XPENG Motors (NYSE: XPEV; HKEX: 9868) has introduced the P7+, the world’s first AI-defined electric vehicle, in China, marking a new era in premium smart driving.
The launch highlights XPENG’s commitment to integrating advanced artificial intelligence into its vehicles, creating an elevated driving experience that combines cutting-edge technology with luxury and efficiency.

The P7+, an executive sedan with AI-driven capabilities, features XPENG’s proprietary XOS 5.4 operating system, delivering an advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) that leverages its AI Hawkeye Visual Solution for enhanced vision in varied lighting and weather.
Equipped with an AI-enabled cockpit powered by the X-GPT model, the vehicle offers natural voice interaction, enabling users to control a range of functions seamlessly. The interior is outfitted with a 15.6-inch control screen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument display, and an 8-inch rear entertainment screen, providing a comprehensive smart cockpit experience.

Energy Efficiency and Performance
The P7+ boasts industry-leading energy efficiency, achieving 10 km per kWh thanks to XPENG’s innovations in vehicle design, thermal management, and power control, giving the vehicle a high real-world range efficiency of over 116%.
Equipped with a high-performance drivetrain, it accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and brakes from 100 km/h in just 35 meters. Enhanced by its double-wishbone and five-link suspension system, the P7+ reduces vibrations on rough roads, offering smooth, high-quality performance.
Safety and Structural Innovation
XPENG prioritizes safety with the P7+, featuring an ultra-strong aluminum die-cast body and a 2,000 MPa high-strength cage frame for superior crash protection. The vehicle includes seven airbags, 14 active safety features, and a battery designed to withstand impacts up to 700J. Its robust construction offers substantial protection to all passengers, underscoring XPENG’s safety-first approach.
Premium Interior Comfort and Spaciousness
Blending sedan comfort with SUV practicality, the P7+ offers generous space, featuring a panoramic sunroof, Nappa leather seats with massage functions, and ample room for both passengers and cargo. The vehicle’s innovative design, including the world’s thinnest battery pack at 109 mm, allows maximum headroom and a trunk that can hold up to 725 liters, providing versatility for commuting and travel.
XPENG’s P7+ is available in China now, with deliveries beginning this month.
