XPENG Motors (NYSE: XPEV, HKEX: 9868) has officially entered the Nepalese market, inaugurating its flagship showroom at Thapathali, Kathmandu, in partnership with CG Motors, its authorized distributor in Nepal.
This milestone marks XPENG’s latest expansion in South Asia, showcasing the G6 “Ultra Smart Coupe SUV,” a high-tech electric vehicle equipped with advanced AI features and a 5-Star Euro NCAP safety rating.

The launch event, attended by representatives from XPENG and the Chinese Embassy, featured XPENG’s Vice Chairman and President, Dr. Brian Gu, who introduced the brand’s vision of “Leading the Future of AI Mobility.”
CG Motors’ Managing Director, Nirvana Chaudhary, also discussed the achievements of CG Motors and outlined future plans for expanding XPENG’s footprint across Nepal.
The G6 SUV stands out with its cutting-edge SEPA 2.0 architecture, XPENG’s proprietary XOS operating system, and 800V fast-charging capability.
The SUV boasts a powerful motor with 190 kW power and 440 Nm torque, a 66kWh battery supporting a range of up to 435 km, and rigorous safety features, including 9-dimension battery protection. Notably, CG Motors handed over 25 units of the G6 to its first Nepalese customers during the event.
XPENG’s entry into Nepal is part of a broader expansion, with CG Motors planning to increase its Nepalese service points from 20 to 40 and to add 200 more charging stations to its current DC fast-charging network of over 244 locations.
