Iconic Auto Sports originally constructed the vehicle in the 1930s for the racing driver Count Carlo Felice Trossi.
Despite its age, the motor has just 200 miles on the clock, 186 miles have been done under Cena’s ownership.
The vintage Merc is equipped with an impressive 3.0-litre M186 Inline-Six engine which was fully serviced in 2022.
The motor also features twin solex carburettors and is kitted out with a four-speed manual transmission.
The car also features 18 inch black wire wheels that match the eye-catching exterior, as reported by Luxury Auto News.
The winning bidder will receive a personalised video from Cena himself as well as an autographed t-shirt or photograph.
Bidding for the auction hosted in Naples, Florida will end tomorrow (7 Jan)
Bring A Trailer, who are hosting the sale, stated: “This Mercedes-Benz SSK re-creation was constructed over the course of several decades by the Argentinian constructors now known as Iconic Auto Sports.
“In the style of the Count Trossi roadster built for racing driver Count Carlo Felice Trossi in the early 1930s.
“Completed approximately a decade ago, the re-creation was later imported to the US, where it was purchased in 2021 by its current owner, actor and professional wrestler John Cena.”
