Honda is gearing up for the release of its most rugged and capable SUV yet: the all-new Passport TrailSport. Equipped with a stronger DOHC 3.5-liter V6 engine, a durable 10-speed automatic transmission, and Honda’s i-VTM4™ all-wheel drive system with industry-leading torque vectoring, this vehicle is built to tackle the toughest terrains with ease.
Honda’s engineers have been testing the next-gen Passport TrailSport on some of America’s most extreme landscapes.
From the rocky paths of Moab, Utah, to the sandy dunes of western Michigan, and the muddy trails of the Appalachian region, the Passport TrailSport is being put through its paces to ensure it meets the highest standards of off-road performance.

Both the 2026 Passport and the off-road-ready Passport TrailSport are set to be unveiled this fall, with dealerships expected to have the models available early next year.
Honda’s commitment to innovation continues to show through its diverse lineup of vehicles. Sold across more than 1,000 independent U.S. dealerships, Honda’s offerings range from popular models like the Civic and Accord to the family-friendly Odyssey minivan and the rugged Ridgeline pickup.

In addition to expanding its electric vehicle lineup, Honda is making strides in hybrid technology, with models like the Accord hybrid, CR-V hybrid, and the new Civic hybrid representing over a quarter of their U.S. sales in 2023.
With more than four decades of automobile production in the U.S., Honda continues to be a key player in North American manufacturing, operating 18 major facilities. Impressively, in 2023, over 99% of the Honda vehicles sold in the U.S. were built in North America, with a significant portion made in the U.S. using a mix of local and globally sourced parts.
