Volkswagen has unveiled the ID. EVERY1 concept car, a compact and affordable all-electric vehicle designed for Europe, from Europe.

With a target price of €20,000, this entry-level EV is set to launch in 2027, following the ID. 2all, which arrives in 2026 at €25,000. Both models belong to Volkswagen’s new Electric Urban Car Family, built on the MEB platform with front-wheel drive.

Volkswagen’s goal is to offer a diverse range of vehicles, from efficient combustion and hybrid models to cutting-edge electric cars. CEO Thomas Schäfer describes the ID.

EVERY1 as “the final piece of the puzzle” in Volkswagen’s plan to provide affordable EV mobility while strengthening its position as the world’s leading volume manufacturer by 2030.

ID. EVERY1: A Smart, Versatile EV

This new customer-centric model will feature a powerful software architecture that enables lifelong updates and upgrades, ensuring adaptability long after purchase.

With a length of 3,880 mm, it sits between the former up!, the ID. 2all, and the Polo, offering spacious seating for four and 305 liters of luggage capacity. Powered by a 70 kW (95 PS) electric motor, it boasts a top speed of 130 km/h and a range of at least 250 km.

Volkswagen’s Head of Design Andreas Mindt emphasizes a bold yet approachable look, incorporating dynamic front lights and a signature “smiling” rear to give the ID. EVERY1 a unique personality.

Volkswagen’s Future Roadmap

The production version of the ID. EVERY1 is part of Volkswagen’s three-phase strategy:

  • Advance (2025): Strengthening competitiveness and previewing the Electric Urban Car Family.
  • Attack (2027): Launching nine new models, including the ID. 2all and ID. EVERY1.
  • Achieve (2030): Becoming the technological leader in affordable electric mobility.
