Aston Martin has unveiled the full details of the Valhalla, a groundbreaking mid-engined hybrid supercar that fuses Formula 1®-inspired technology with cutting-edge engineering and design. Limited to just 999 units, the Valhalla is set to begin production in Q2 2025, delivering an unmatched blend of road usability and track performance.
Performance and Powertrain
The Valhalla’s 1079PS/1100Nm hybrid powertrain combines a bespoke 828PS 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with three electric motors, adding an additional 251PS. Capable of 0-100km/h (62mph) in 2.5 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 350km/h (217mph), it’s Aston Martin’s most powerful V8 engine to date.

An all-new 8-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) ensures lightning-fast gear changes, while the twin front-axle electric motors enable torque vectoring, regenerative braking, and EV-only drive with a range of 14km and a top speed of 140km/h (80mph) in pure electric mode.
Aerodynamics and Chassis
The Valhalla incorporates active aerodynamics generating over 600kg of downforce from 240km/h to 350km/h, complemented by DRS (Drag Reduction System) and an air brake function for enhanced braking stability. Built on a bespoke carbon-fiber monocoque, the car’s dry weight is 1655kg, achieving a power-to-weight ratio of 652PS per 1000kg.
The advanced suspension system includes Formula 1®-style pushrod front suspension and adaptive dampers, tuned for distinct driving modes: Sport, Sport+, Race, and Pure EV. These configurations optimize everything from suspension stiffness to aerodynamics for tailored driving dynamics.
Design and Interior
The Valhalla’s design embodies Aston Martin’s signature blend of form and function, featuring dramatic forward-hinged dihedral doors, a sleek carbon-fiber body, and active aerodynamic elements integrated seamlessly into its sculpted lines. Interior highlights include carbon-fiber bucket seats, a Formula 1®-inspired steering wheel, and a cutting-edge HMI system with customizable displays for road and track use.
Advanced customization options through Q by Aston Martin allow owners to create a truly bespoke experience, from unique finishes to entirely custom components.
Technology and Sustainability
With its plug-in hybrid powertrain, the Valhalla represents Aston Martin’s first production vehicle with dedicated EV range capability, aligning with modern sustainability goals. Its regenerative braking and state-of-the-art High-Performance Battery (HPB) maximize efficiency and performance, ensuring seamless transitions between power sources.
Exclusivity and Availability
Production is limited to 999 units, with first deliveries expected in H2 2025. Valhalla’s configurator is now live at configurator.astonmartin.com, offering a glimpse into this next-generation supercar.
