From 18 July to 18 August 2024, the Mercedes-Benz Museum’s open-air stage will host a vibrant series of events, including music, dance, comedy, and various performances. This popular event, “Urban Culture at the Mercedes-Benz Museum,” promises a dynamic lineup featuring artists from diverse genres, performing for enthusiastic audiences. Bettina Haussmann, the Director of the Mercedes-Benz Museum, emphasizes the event’s growing popularity, highlighting the eclectic mix of concerts, club evenings, and comedy shows that have garnered a dedicated following. The museum provides the open-air stage and infrastructure, while the artists bring their unique performances to the fore, solidifying the venue’s role as a key cultural hub.

The event series kicks off on 18 July 2024 at 7 pm with a “Best of Poetry Slam” evening. Other highlights include the “Best of Erotic Slam” on 24 July at 7 pm, and “Kopfkino Vol. 14” on 28 July at 7 pm. Comedy enthusiasts can look forward to “Comedy 72” on 4 August at 7 pm and the “Stuttgarter Comedy Clash” on 16 and 17 August at 7:30 pm, promising plenty of laughs.

Music aficionados will be treated to a variety of events, such as the “Summer Night Concert” on 25 July at 8 pm, “Old School Vibes” on 27 July at 5 pm, and “Udo Jürgens – Homage to a Legend” on 8 August at 7:30 pm. Top-tier bands and DJs, including Dominic Eulberg on 21 July at 5 pm and Genetikk on 3 August at 7 pm, will ensure unforgettable evenings under the stars.

Several events have already sold out, including “MAMAGEHTTANZEN” – a party event for mothers on 19 July at 6 pm, “Best of Erotic Slam” on 24 July, and “Stuttgarter Comedy Clash” on 16 August. Due to overwhelming demand, an additional date for the Comedy Clash has been added on 17 August. Tickets remain available for other scheduled events.

In addition to these performances, the museum will also host its popular open-air cinema from 23 August to 8 September (www.mercedes-benz.com/oak). Moreover, the Classics & Coffee open-brand classic car meetings, held on Sundays until 13 October, will attract vintage car enthusiasts, with the next gathering scheduled for 28 July (www.mercedes-benz.com/classics-coffee). These themed events, showcasing individual model series and vehicle categories from Mercedes-Benz’s storied history, continue to be a hit among attendees.
