BMW has begun production of the updated all-electric BMW iX at its Dingolfing plant, marking a significant step in its EV lineup. Since its 2021 launch, over 130,000 units have been sold globally.

The 2025 update boosts performance by 25%, improves efficiency, and extends range up to 701 km (WLTP)—making it BMW’s longest-range electric model.

For the first time, the M Sport and M Sport Pro packages enhance the iX’s dynamic design, alongside new exterior colors like Arctic Race Blue and Tanzanite Blue Metallic.

The iX remains central to BMW’s all-electric strategy, produced alongside the i7 and all-electric 5 Series at Dingolfing.
