Lancia is officially returning to the rally stage with a high-profile appearance at the Regione Piemonte Rally in Alba from April 11–13, ahead of its full-scale comeback at the Trofeo Lancia debut during the Targa Florio Rally on May 8.
Central to this relaunch is the New Ypsilon Rally4 HF, a front-wheel-drive race car already surpassing 90 units sold in just four months. Powered by a 212-hp turbo engine and developed with motorsport icon Miki Biasion, it’s built for younger drivers aiming to make their mark in the sport.

The upcoming Trofeo Lancia one-make series is fully booked with 40 entrants, including 25 under-35 drivers competing for a coveted spot in the 2026 FIA ERC.
The rally will also spotlight the 280-hp all-electric Ypsilon HF road car and host the Lancia Corse HF Village, featuring fan experiences, test drives of the new Ypsilon hybrid, and a display of 25 historic Lancia rally cars.

Lancia CEO Luca Napolitano calls this a symbolic and exciting return to the brand’s racing roots. The Ypsilon Rally4 HF, developed in collaboration with Stellantis Motorsport, features Italian-made components from top suppliers like Marelli, Sparco, TM Tecnologie, Speedline, and Supersprint.

It uses a 1.2L three-cylinder turbo engine paired with a SADEV 5-speed gearbox and Ohlin-adjustable McPherson suspension—perfect for adapting to different driving styles.

The Trofeo Lancia also boasts a €360,000 prize pool, positioning it as one of the most rewarding cups in Italian motorsport.
This year’s roster includes top talent from the Italian Junior Rally and Two-Wheel Drive Championships, with two female crews and seven international drivers confirmed. The championship includes five major events, culminating at the Rallye Sanremo in October.

Fans can follow the action through Lancia Corse HF’s new social channels on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, where the brand will share race updates, behind-the-scenes content, and the evolution of its motorsport revival.
