Toyota turned heads at the 2024 SEMA Show with its Ultimate Tailgate Tundra, a custom-built Tundra designed to redefine the tailgating experience. Inspired by Toyota’s role as the Official Automotive Partner of the NFL, this unique build is an audio-visual powerhouse that transforms pre-game gatherings into immersive fan experiences.

“This build is more than a tailgate setup; it’s an audio-visual event,” said Tyler Litchenberger, Toyota’s Vehicle Marketing and Communication Manager.

The Ultimate Tailgate Tundra features a custom staging shell that rises from the truck bed with the push of a button, revealing five 55-inch weatherproof screens. The screens, positioned for optimal viewing from any angle, are shaded by a 185-square-foot canopy that creates a shaded, stadium-like atmosphere.

The audio system is just as impressive, with JBL® Club Marine Series speakers, including four tower speakers and dual 10-inch subwoofers powered by marine-grade amplifiers. This setup delivers high-quality sound designed to withstand outdoor elements, creating a dynamic, stadium-like audio experience.

Complete with satellite Wi-Fi and an onboard generator, the Tundra offers cordless connectivity and reliable power, making it entirely self-sufficient. Mike Tripp, Toyota’s Group Vice President, noted that this build celebrates Toyota’s NFL partnership while demonstrating the Tundra’s versatility as a lifestyle vehicle for sports fans.

Catch the Ultimate Tailgate Tundra in action at the 2024 SEMA Show in Las Vegas and see how Toyota takes tailgating to new heights with this innovative concept vehicle.

Note: This is a prototype vehicle with custom modifications that may void warranty and are not street legal.
