Key Updates for the 2025 GR Corolla:
- New Automatic Transmission: The 8-speed DAT offers fast, precise shifts, tuned for sporty driving. With software that anticipates optimal gear changes, the DAT enhances both track and everyday driving.
- Torque Boost: Engine torque has increased from 273 lb.-ft. to 295 lb.-ft., matching the 2023 Morizo edition for a more powerful performance.
- Cooling Enhancements: The front bumper redesign accommodates an optional sub-radiator and an Automatic Transmission Fluid cooler for improved performance, especially in the DAT models.
- Suspension Retuning: The 2025 model boasts an upgraded suspension with rebound springs and rear axle improvements, delivering better traction and cornering stability.
Power and Performance:
All GR Corolla models are powered by the turbocharged G16E-GTS 1.6-liter 3-cylinder engine, delivering 300 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. The GR-FOUR All-Wheel Drive system provides exceptional traction, with adjustable modes for different terrains: Normal (60:40), Gravel (50:50), and Track (30:70).
