Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) is overhauling its manufacturing operations to strengthen its electrification push and streamline production.
Effective May 19, 2025, the new structure introduces three strategic pillars—Manufacturing Business Operations, Manufacturing Operations, and Production Engineering—and reorganizes plants into seven regional groups based on complexity and scale.
Stephen Brennan will lead Manufacturing Business Operations, overseeing EV supply, production strategy, and safety.

Kerry Creech remains president of Toyota Kentucky while adding responsibility for Region 1. Kevin Voelkel steps up as head of Manufacturing Operations, supervising all vehicle and unit plants.
Regional leadership changes include:
- Jason Puckett to lead Indiana and Region 2;
- Tim Hollander to Canada (Region 3);
- Frank Voss to Texas and Region 4;
- David Rosier to oversee Region 5 including West Virginia and Alabama;
- David Fernandes continues at Mazda Toyota, now leading Region 6;
- Don Stewart becomes president of the North Carolina battery plant and head of Region 7, succeeding Sean Suggs, who retires in June.
Susann Kazunas will head Production Engineering, managing new product launches across facilities.
Toyota, employing nearly 64,000 people in North America, continues its commitment to local manufacturing and electrified mobility, with its North Carolina battery plant set to begin operations in spring 2025.
