Théo Pourchaire joins DS Performance for a Formula E development program, including tests in the DS E-TENSE FE21 and simulator sessions as part of Stellantis’ young driver plan.

Théo Pourchaire, the 2023 Formula 2 World Champion, has joined the Stellantis Motorsport ‘Young Driver’ programme and will continue his journey in Formula E with DS Performance.

After taking part in the rookie test ahead of the 2025 Jeddah E-Prix, the 21-year-old French driver will now undergo a development programme featuring three test days in the DS E-TENSE FE21 and ten simulator sessions.

Currently a test driver for Peugeot Sport in endurance racing, Pourchaire will now also support DS Automobiles—one of the most successful teams in Formula E history with four titles, 17 wins, and 52 podiums.

Following his Gen2 tests, he will return to the wheel of the Gen3 Evo car as part of his ongoing development.

“I’m thrilled to continue this adventure with such an experienced team,” said Pourchaire. “Formula E is a high-level championship, and this could be a great opportunity for me.”

DS Performance director Eugenio Franzetti added, “We’re proud to welcome Théo. His talent and experience will bring real value, and I look forward to seeing what he can do in our car.”

With this move, DS reinforces its commitment to nurturing young talent as it continues its legacy in electric motorsport.
