The largest MINI yet, the MINI Countryman, boasts an advanced four-cylinder diesel engine equipped with TwinPower Turbo technology, delivering both efficiency and dynamic performance with economical fuel consumption. The new MINI design is particularly striking in the Favoured Trim.
Munich – The MINI Countryman is the versatile all-rounder of the new MINI family: agile in urban settings, comfortable on rural roads, and with noticeably more interior space.
The addition of the efficient two-liter four-cylinder diesel engine to the MINI Countryman D’s lineup enhances the range of driving options available to customers, complementing the existing purely electric and gasoline engines.

Efficient Diesel Drive with Superior Smoothness
The MINI Countryman D features an electric motor with 48-volt mild hybrid technology integrated into the transmission, which recovers braking energy and supports the performance of the twin power motor with an additional 14 kW of electric drive power. This integration results in more responsive performance at low engine speeds and heightened overall efficiency.
The quiet diesel engine of the MINI Countryman D (combined fuel consumption: 4.9 – 4.6 l/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 127 – 120 g/km according to WLTP) produces 120 kW/163 hp, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds.
The direct steering, combined with a single-joint McPherson strut front axle and multi-link rear axle, ensures the signature MINI go-kart driving experience.
Purist Design with Personal Expression
The MINI Countryman D’s minimalist design can be tailored with four trim variants: Essential, Classic, Favoured, or John Cooper Works, for both the exterior and interior. In Favoured Trim with Midnight Black metallic paint, the MINI Countryman D stands out with a wide, upright stance.
The front view is dominated by an octagonal front grille highlighted in vibrant silver and distinctive MINI LED headlamps, contributing to its strong appearance.
Short overhangs emphasize the vehicle’s agility, contrasting with the sleekly extended roof. The stylish C-pillar, matched in color, and a badge indicating the chosen trim variant add to the distinct look. Standard piano black roof rails enhance the MINI Countryman D’s transport options, while light alloy wheels are available in various designs and sizes from 17 to 21 inches.
Spacious Interior with Innovative Technologies
The increased dimensions of the MINI Countryman body improve comfort significantly. The driver and front passenger benefit from an additional three centimeters of width in the shoulder and elbow areas.
The rear seat, adjustable by up to 13 centimeters, offers either more legroom or increased cargo space. The rear seat backrest can be individually adjusted by up to 12 degrees in six positions, expanding the trunk volume from 450 liters to up to 1,460 liters with the backrests folded down in a 40:20:40 split.
New textile surfaces on the dashboard and interior door panels create a homely ambiance. The spacious, minimalist design is further enhanced by the Panoramic glass roof, adding brightness and all-round visibility.
The new central instrument in the cockpit is a 240 mm diameter round OLED display with a high-quality glass surface, providing an intuitive interface for infotainment and assistance systems, operable via touch or voice commands. Characteristic MINI toggle switches below the display control all driving functions.
Enhanced Driving Experience
The MINI Experience Modes offer an immersive driving experience, combining visual design, ambient lighting, and innovative sound design. For the first time, Driving Assistant Plus enables partially automated Level 2 driving on motorway-like routes, allowing the driver to take their hands off the steering wheel at speeds up to 60 km/h, while remaining vigilant and ready to take control at any moment.
