The heart of this upgrade is the new 1.5 TFSI evo2 turbo petrol engine, replacing the 1.4 TFSI, and an optimized electric motor delivering 85 kW of power. Together, they offer a seamless combination of performance and fuel economy.
The high-voltage battery, with nearly double the energy content, increases the electric-only driving range, making the car more capable for emission-free journeys.
Available in two versions—40 TFSI e and the sportier 45 TFSI e—the more powerful model generates 200 kW (272 PS) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds. The compact hybrid also supports DC fast charging for the first time, allowing an 80% recharge in under 30 minutes.
With refined suspension and chassis tuning, plus new features like regenerative braking via steering wheel paddles, the A3 Sportback TFSI e provides a smoother and more efficient ride.
Stylish elements such as S line exterior design and sporty interiors enhance its appeal, with prices starting at 44,200 euros for the 40 TFSI e, and 47,700 euros for the 45 TFSI e. Both models are available to order from October.
