Mercedes-Benz is enhancing the S-Class for the 2025 model year with a suite of premium upgrades that reinforce its status as a leader in luxury, innovation, and personalization.
DRIVE PILOT: Level 3 Automation at Higher Speeds
Germany’s Autobahn now sees the S-Class drive itself under specific conditions at up to 95 km/h, thanks to the upgraded DRIVE PILOT, the world’s fastest SAE Level 3 system.
Previously capped at 60 km/h, this advancement allows hands-off driving in more real-world conditions.

Using over 35 sensors, including LiDAR and cameras, the system ensures accurate lane positioning and seamless traffic integration. If needed, it safely hands control back to the driver or performs an emergency stop.
MBUX: AI and Entertainment Upgrades
The MBUX infotainment system now includes ChatGPT via Microsoft Azure, allowing for fluid, conversational voice interactions and up-to-date info via Bing.
Enhanced navigation now features Google satellite view, and entertainment options have expanded with YouTube and RIDEVU streaming available in the vehicle. The rear transforms into a mobile cinema for passengers with the Entertainment Package Plus.

MANUFAKTUR: Global Customization Now Live
More than 50 new exterior colors and 25 interior design options are now available globally through the MANUFAKTUR program, giving customers an unparalleled level of bespoke detailing—from hand-stitched interiors to unique wood inlays and heritage paint finishes. These artisanal upgrades echo the brand’s 120+ year tradition of tailor-made excellence.

S-Class Edition: Elevated Style
The new S-Class Edition brings together AMG Line and Night Package for a sportier aesthetic. Exclusive design cues include dark shadow gloss door handles, illuminated sill panels, Nappa leather upholstery, and 20-inch AMG wheels.
Five curated paint finishes and DIGITAL LIGHT technology round out the upscale treatment, while a digital edition emblem debuts within the MBUX system for the first time.
