That works out at an average of 122 per year or just 0.3miles a day.
The road legal supercar has a hair-raising top speed of 221 mph and hits 0 to 60 in just 2.9 seconds.
The Lambo is powered by 6.5 litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine that gives it a whopping 650 bhp.
The auction smashed the previous record set in 2022, where a 2017 Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta was bought for £4.2.million.
The specially made Veneno was based on the Aventador and developed to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary.
The auction was hosted through SBX Cars, with the record breaking sale being a huge milestone for the company, as reported by Luxury Auto News.
The supercar comes with a fine matt black finish with a lime green and black leather interior.
The vehicle was previously owned by a member of the royal family of Saudi Arabia.
SBX Cars is based in Los Angeles, California, US.
