Subaru has unveiled the 2026 Crosstrek Hybrid, featuring a next-generation series-parallel hybrid system that combines a newly developed 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER® engine with electric motors and a 1.1 kWh lithium-ion battery.
Delivering 194 horsepower and standard Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, the Crosstrek Hybrid ensures enhanced efficiency and legendary off-road capability. The SUV also includes X-MODE® with Hill Descent Control and 8.7 inches of ground clearance, rivaling larger SUVs.

Equipped with Subaru’s award-winning EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology, the 2026 Crosstrek Hybrid offers advanced safety features such as Emergency Stop Assist, Reverse Automatic Braking, and Blind-Spot Detection with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.
EyeSight now operates more smoothly, with an expanded field of view and quicker response to cyclists and pedestrians.
Inside, the Crosstrek Hybrid boasts cutting-edge infotainment, including an optional 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and an 11.6-inch tablet-style SUBARU STARLINK® Multimedia system with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android™ Auto. The system integrates navigation, climate, and audio controls while supporting over-the-air updates.
Debuting exclusive colors Sand Dune Pearl and Citron Yellow Pearl, the Crosstrek Hybrid also features 18-inch dark gray alloy wheels.
Pricing and detailed specifications will be revealed ahead of its release in fall 2025. Subaru continues to prioritize sustainability, with all manufacturing occurring in zero-landfill plants, underscoring its commitment to environmental stewardship.
