Subaru of America has announced the pricing and details for the 2025 Subaru WRX lineup, highlighted by the debut of the performance-focused WRX tS, the most advanced WRX to date.
With enhanced features, updated trims, and improved technology, the 2025 WRX offers a range of options to suit performance enthusiasts and daily drivers alike.

Key Highlights:
- Performance Upgrades: The WRX lineup features a 271-horsepower, 2.4-liter turbocharged Subaru BOXER® engine paired with Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. The new WRX tS, tuned by Subaru Tecnica International (STI), introduces electronically adjustable dampers, Brembo® brakes, and 19-inch alloy wheels for enhanced handling and ride comfort.
- Discontinued Base Model: The entry-level WRX Premium now starts at $35,750 MSRP. The base model has been removed to reflect consumer preference for higher trims.
- New Features:
- Standard EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology and DriverFocus® Distraction Mitigation System, even on manual transmission models.
- A new Galaxy Purple color option ($395) across the lineup.
- Updated interiors with red or blue contrast stitching, depending on the trim.
- Technology: Standard across all trims is an 11.6-inch SUBARU STARLINK® Multimedia Plus system with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility. Higher trims add navigation, upgraded Harman Kardon® audio systems, and customizable driving modes.

- WRX Premium ($35,750 MSRP): Includes 18-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, keyless access, and optional Harman Kardon® audio and moonroof package.
- WRX Limited ($40,130 MSRP): Adds leather-trimmed upholstery, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, Blind-Spot Detection, and standard Harman Kardon® speakers with navigation.
- WRX GT ($45,705 MSRP): Exclusive SPT transmission, Ultrasuede® dash panel, and sport-tuned suspension with Electronic Adjustable Ride Control.
- WRX tS ($45,705 MSRP): Features STI-tuned dampers, Drive Mode Select, Recaro® Performance Design front seats, and Brembo® braking system.
Launch and Pricing:
The 2025 WRX will be assembled in Gunma, Japan, and is set to arrive at dealerships nationwide in early 2025. Destination and delivery charges start at $1,170. Subaru’s commitment to safety and sustainability remains central, with the WRX being manufactured in zero-landfill plants.
