Subaru of America reported a 1.5% increase in October sales with 54,552 units sold, marking its 27th consecutive month of growth and strong performances from Crosstrek, Outback, and WRX.

Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) reported October 2024 sales of 54,552 units, marking a 1.5% increase over October 2023. Year-to-date, Subaru’s total sales reached 548,164, up 5.2% compared to the same period last year. This milestone also marked Subaru’s 27th consecutive month of year-over-year sales growth.

Jeff Walters, SOA President and COO, highlighted the brand’s recent achievements, including increased sales, support for animal shelters through Subaru Loves Pets® events, hurricane relief efforts, and Subaru Motorsports USA’s racing success. Walters emphasized Subaru’s ongoing commitment to being “More Than a Car Company®,” driven by these collective efforts.

The Crosstrek achieved a record October with 15,928 units sold, up 15.7% from last year. The Outback followed with 13,549 units, and Forester sales reached 13,431 as production ramps up. Other models like the WRX and BRZ also saw notable increases, with WRX sales rising 15.3% and BRZ up 25.4%.

Senior VP of Sales, Troy Poston, praised Subaru retailers for their commitment to customer needs, attributing Subaru’s success to the quality, safety, and reliability of its lineup. Looking ahead to the holiday season, Poston anticipates continued growth due to Subaru’s strong model offerings and dedication to customer satisfaction.
