Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) reported impressive sales figures for July 2024, marking the 24th consecutive month of year-over-year growth. SOA achieved 51,702 vehicle sales in July, reflecting a 2.6 percent increase compared to the 50,389 units sold in July 2023. Year-to-date sales also rose, reaching 374,145 units, a 5.5 percent improvement over the same period in the previous year.

Jeff Walters, President and Chief Operating Officer of Subaru of America, Inc., credited the continuous growth to the dedication of Subaru retailers. He emphasized that offering some of the safest and most durable vehicles on the market bolsters customer trust and satisfaction, motivating the brand to fulfill consumer needs consistently.

The Crosstrek emerged as the top-selling model, achieving its best-ever July with 15,318 units sold—a remarkable 36 percent increase from July 2023. The Outback followed closely with 14,204 vehicles sold. The Forester also performed well, with 10,682 units sold, driven by growing demand as Subaru transitions to the all-new 2025 Forester model. The Solterra also set a record for July, with a 66 percent increase in sales over the previous year.

Troy Poston, Senior Vice President of Sales at Subaru of America, Inc., noted that the strong sales of the Crosstrek and Outback signal positive momentum and growth potential for the brand. He highlighted the Forester’s reputation for outstanding safety as a significant factor attracting both new and returning customers to Subaru.

  • BRZ: 271 units (-12.9%), Year-to-Date: 1,685 units (-40.3%)
  • Crosstrek: 15,318 units (+36.3%), Year-to-Date: 94,818 units (+8.5%)
  • Forester: 10,682 units (-26.4%), Year-to-Date: 103,531 units (+36.6%)
  • Impreza: 2,578 units (-7.9%), Year-to-Date: 17,470 units (-20.9%)
  • Legacy: 1,799 units (-17.1%), Year-to-Date: 11,249 units (-20.4%)
  • Outback: 14,204 units (+14.3%), Year-to-Date: 95,907 units (+2.2%)
  • Solterra: 1,261 units (+66.4%), Year-to-Date: 6,646 units (+78.2%)
