Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) celebrated a strong close to 2024 with December sales reaching 61,871 vehicles, marking a 7.1% year-over-year increase and the automaker’s 29th consecutive month of sales growth.

For the full year, Subaru sold 667,725 vehicles, up 5.6% compared to 2023, driven by the success of models like the Crosstrek, Forester, and Solterra EV.

The Crosstrek led 2024 sales with a record-breaking 181,811 units sold (+14%), while the Forester posted 175,521 sales (+15%), finishing as December’s top performer. The Outback also saw annual growth with 168,771 units sold (+4%), and the Solterra EV achieved its best year yet, selling 12,447 vehicles (+40%).

SOA President Jeff Walters credited the company’s ongoing commitment to quality, reliability, and community support, including the annual Subaru Share the Love® Event.

This philanthropic initiative donates $250 per vehicle sold or leased to national and local charities. Since its inception in 2008, the event has raised over $320 million, with 2024 results expected in March.
