Stellantis N.V. has announced its intention to join the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA), reaffirming its commitment to addressing the critical challenges faced by the European automotive sector during the transition to net-zero mobility.
The move comes at a pivotal time as the industry undergoes profound transformation driven by electrification, new competitive forces, and a rapidly evolving global environment. Stellantis sees ACEA as the ideal platform to foster collaboration and develop shared strategies for sustainability, competitiveness, and community interests.

“Stellantis’ commitment to the electrification transition is deep,” said Jean-Philippe Imparato, Stellantis Enlarged Europe COO. “We consider ACEA the right forum to engage with peers and stakeholders to build a roadmap supporting the entire value chain.”
Pending ACEA Board approval, Stellantis’ membership will take effect on January 1, 2025. This move strengthens the company’s focus on advancing its Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, targeting carbon neutrality by 2038 with minimal offsets.
Stellantis’ iconic brands, including Jeep®, Peugeot, and Maserati, will join forces with other ACEA members to navigate the complexities of the automotive industry’s future and foster sustainable progress for the sector.
