Subaru Motorsports USA Dominates 2025 ARA Season Opener at Sno*Drift Rally
Triple ARA champion Brandon Semenuk and co-driver Keaton Williams kicked off the 2025 American Rally Association (ARA) season with a commanding victory at the Sno*Drift Rally in Michigan.
The duo will continue their quest for a fourth consecutive ARA title at the upcoming Rally in the 100 Acre Wood in Missouri on March 14-15.

Unlike the snow-free conditions in 2024, this year’s Sno*Drift delivered plenty of snow, icy roads, and frigid temperatures, challenging every competitor. “It was great to finally have proper snow this year,” said Semenuk. “We had to be strategic, setting a good pace early while managing the polished ice later on. A fantastic way to start the season.”
This event also provided valuable winter racing experience for the WRX ARA25, Subaru’s latest rally machine.
While the platform debuted in 2024 as the WRX ARA24, last year’s Sno*Drift ran under warmer conditions. “This was our first real test in deep snow,” said Semenuk. “We learned a lot, and it’s great to have that experience moving forward.”
Despite the cold, fans turned out in force, especially at the legendary Bonfire Alley, where celebrations continued well into the night.
