Rivian Automotive (NASDAQ: RIVN) has officially opened sales of its Rivian Commercial Van to fleets of all sizes across the U.S. The vehicle, which served as the foundation for Amazon’s custom electric delivery van (EDV), is designed for safety, driver comfort, cost efficiency, and sustainability.

A Proven, Scalable Fleet Solution

Following the end of its exclusivity agreement with Amazon, Rivian has been trialing its commercial van with major fleet operators and refining its fleet management system for large-scale deployment. These successful pilots have paved the way for Rivian to expand sales beyond Amazon to businesses of all sizes.

Currently, Amazon operates more than 20,000 Rivian EDVs, which delivered over a billion packages in 2024 alone.
