Porsche has introduced a new 911 Carrera T, available for the first time as both a Coupé and Cabriolet. Designed for purists, the Carrera T focuses on driving agility, a lightweight build, and a stirring sound profile, underscored by a six-speed manual transmission and performance-oriented tuning.
This latest addition to the 911 lineup, positioned between the Carrera and Carrera S, evokes Porsche’s history of the ‘T’ models dating back to 1968, emphasizing pure driving pleasure and responsive handling.

Powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder twin-turbo engine, the 911 Carrera T generates 394 horsepower with a torque of up to 450 Nm. Enhanced by a Sport Chrono Package as standard, the Carrera T accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, reaching a top speed of 295 km/h.
With the Cabriolet variant, it’s slightly slower at 4.7 seconds and a maximum speed of 293 km/h. Paired with a standard six-speed manual transmission, the Carrera T also features an auto-blip function to smooth gear shifts, augmenting both precision and sound.
The car’s weight-saving measures contribute to its distinct drive feel, using lightweight windows, reduced insulation, and available full bucket seats that bring its weight to just 1,478 kg—over 40 kg lighter than the 911 Carrera.
Porsche has also included rear-axle steering and an adaptive sports suspension that’s lowered by 10 mm, sharpening its handling and agility. Specially tuned anti-roll bars and aerodynamic improvements allow the 911 Carrera T to deliver neutral handling on winding roads. It rides on Carrera S light alloy wheels, with 20-inch tires in the front and 21-inch tires at the rear.
The Carrera T’s exterior is highlighted by Vanadium Grey detailing and a distinctive spoiler lip borrowed from the 911 Carrera GTS, while the interior features a purist design with black accents and optional Race-Tex elements.
Inside, the dashboard sports an analog stopwatch from the Sport Chrono Package, and the gear lever is finished with a unique walnut wood knob for tactile appeal. Four-way adjustable sports seats with a signature tartan fabric pattern are standard, with upgrades to Adaptive Sports Seats Plus or full bucket seats available.
Customization extends to body colors as well, with options like Shade Green Metallic and Gentian Blue Metallic as part of Porsche’s Legends and Dreams schemes. The interior can be further personalized with the Carrera T design packages in Gentian Blue, adding contrast stitching and unique seat detailing, enhancing its exclusivity.
With the Carrera T, Porsche blends traditional manual handling with modern engineering, bringing a unique experience to enthusiasts seeking the quintessential 911 drive.
