A new automatic defect detection system scans each car body, capturing 100,000 images in just 72 seconds. These scans, analyzed by 10 high-powered image-processing computers, detect minute imperfections like pinholes and debris inclusions.
If an issue is found, its exact location is relayed with millimeter accuracy to the finishing team, who use detailed digital models to address the problem swiftly and effectively.
