To mark its 40th anniversary, Porsche Ibérica has introduced the Cuarenta Edition, a bespoke version of the iconic 911. This limited edition features a unique combination of exterior and interior colors and finishes, with exclusive logos inspired by Iberian history and culture. The creation of the Cuarenta Edition brought together experts from Porsche Ibérica, Style Porsche, and the Sonderwunsch Team in Zuffenhausen.
In 1984, Porsche transitioned from being represented in Spain by an importer to establishing a subsidiary, initially named Porsche España, S.A. This shift marked a significant milestone in Porsche’s history, reflecting its strong connection with Iberian enthusiasts.

To commemorate these four decades and honor its loyal customers, Porsche has crafted this highly individualized edition of the 911. Each car in this collection is a work of art, meticulously designed to fulfill the dreams of a select group of future owners.
Tomás Villén, Managing Director of Porsche Ibérica, expressed pride in the brand’s achievements: “The arrival of Porsche as a subsidiary in Spain and Portugal, taking over from the importer at the time, was a turning point for the brand. We are very proud of the work we have done in these forty years, and what better way to celebrate than with an exclusive model of the company’s icon, the 911, for our market. At Porsche Ibérica, we will keep one unit, which we will use and preserve as a jewel to showcase our heritage.”
The Cuarenta Edition embodies a creative collaboration inspired by Iberian culture and tradition. Alexander Fabig, Vice President Individualisation & Classic at Porsche, highlighted the project’s significance: “The idea behind the Cuarenta Edition was to create a 911 that would have been ordered by a Spanish or Portuguese customer 40 years ago and that is still fashionable and desirable today. We learned a lot about Iberian culture and tradition as well as anecdotes from the founding period of Porsche Ibérica in the 1980s.”
The limited edition is based on the new Carrera GTS Coupé, the first new model marketed by Porsche Ibérica 40 years ago. This version includes the new T-Hybrid drive system, which combines an electric motor integrated into the turbocharger, a lightweight high-voltage battery, and an electric motor coupled to the eight-speed PDK gearbox. The 3.6-liter six-cylinder boxer engine generates 398 kW (541 PS), accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds and reaching a top speed of 312 km/h (194 mph). Standard features include rear-wheel steering and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) with a 10-millimeter lower ground clearance.
For the Cuarenta Edition, a bespoke exterior color, Quercusverde, was created, reminiscent of the shade of holm oak leaves characteristic of the Spanish and Portuguese landscape. The Quercus tree also features in the anniversary logo, hand-painted on the car’s rear lid grille. Additional unique design elements include the nueveonce/Cuarenta logo on the B-pillar in Cremewhite, silver Porsche and 911 logos at the rear, and Black Satin stone guard film on the fender flares.
The interior of the Cuarenta Edition is equally distinctive, featuring a two-tone Truffle Brown and Cohiba Brown leather combination, with Tartan textile seat center inlays in matching colors. Cross-stitching in Crayon and Truffle Brown adds a luxurious touch, while the seats are adorned with Cuarenta embossing on the headrests. The vehicle’s key, painted in Quercusverde, comes in a custom leather pouch matching the interior, featuring the Quercus tree logo.
In addition to the car, customers receive a custom-made indoor car cover in Quercusverde, with Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and Cuarenta Edition logos.
This exclusive 911 edition is a fitting tribute to Porsche Ibérica’s 40-year legacy and its enduring connection with Iberian Porsche enthusiasts.
