Porsche has announced the immediate availability of the new rear-wheel drive Macan, marking the entry point to its all-electric SUV lineup. Alongside this, the new Macan 4S positions itself in the upper performance range of the series.
The rear-wheel-drive Macan emphasizes efficiency and range. It is powered by a 100 kWh high-voltage battery and a rear-axle motor with a 250 kW output, providing up to 641 km of combined WLTP range. This model’s lighter weight, compared to the Macan 4, contributes to its efficiency.

The Macan 4S, bridging the gap between the Macan 4 and Macan Turbo, features advanced Porsche Traction Management. Its powerful electric motors, including a new rear-axle motor and 600-amp SiC pulse inverter, deliver a system output of 330 kW, with overboost power reaching 380 kW. This model achieves a top speed of 240 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of 4.1 seconds, with a combined WLTP range of up to 606 km. Standard features include Porsche Active Suspension Management and adaptive air suspension.
Both new Macan models inherit the series’ hallmark design and advanced aerodynamics. The 800-volt PPE architecture supports fast DC charging, enabling the high-voltage battery to charge from 10 to 80 percent in about 21 minutes.
A new exterior color, Slate Grey Neo, and a 20-inch Macan S wheel are now available across the range. The off-road design package, offering increased ground clearance and improved approach angles, is optionally available, enhancing the vehicle’s capability on rough terrains.
The Macan series also features the Porsche Driver Experience, integrating digital and analogue elements with a 12.6-inch curved instrument cluster, a 10.9-inch passenger display, augmented reality head-up display, and ambient lighting, all customizable via the new Themes app.
With these updates, Porsche continues to advance its all-electric vehicle offerings, combining performance, efficiency, and cutting-edge technology.
