Porsche has delivered 226,026 vehicles globally in the first nine months of 2024, marking a 7% decline compared to the previous year, largely due to limited product availability.
The Cayenne, however, posted strong growth with 77,686 units sold (+21%), while the iconic 911 saw a 2% increase in deliveries. Despite challenges, demand for Porsche’s two-door sports cars also grew, driven by the brand’s latest product launches.

Growth was seen in Europe, where deliveries rose by 1%, and in Germany, up 8%. In contrast, deliveries in China fell by 29%, impacted by a challenging market environment and Porsche’s value-focused sales strategy. In North America, Porsche handed over 61,471 vehicles, a 5% decrease.
With the recent launch of the all-electric Macan, Porsche expects a strong finish to 2024 as new models reach customers. Detlev von Platen, Executive Board Member for Sales and Marketing, expressed optimism, citing robust customer demand and positive feedback on new models.
