Each winter, the Norwegian Automobile Federation (NAF) and Motor magazine put electric vehicles to the ultimate test in harsh winter conditions.
This year, the Polestar 3 Long range Dual motor with Performance Pack dominated the competition, outperforming 23 other EVs despite not having the longest official range.
Under steep climbs, snowfall, and icy roads, it covered an impressive 531 km—just a 5% deviation from its official 561 km WLTP range, the smallest margin among all competitors.

In the six-year history of this winter test, the Polestar 3’s result ranks as the second-best ever recorded. “We are proud that Polestar 3 wins another big test! Range is a key factor for customers, and this proves Polestar 3 is an outstanding choice for those seeking a luxury SUV that excels in all conditions,” said Polestar CEO Michael Lohscheller.

The El Prix results confirm that the Polestar 3 isn’t just built for winter roads—it sets the benchmark. With its Arctic Circle-tested engineering, it delivers a reliable, high-performance experience for both daily commutes and long journeys, no matter the season.
