Opel has introduced cutting-edge lighting technology on its new Grandland SUV, featuring advanced Intelli-Lux HD headlights with over 50,000 LED elements.
This adaptive, glare-free system enhances safety, helping drivers spot potential obstacles up to 40 meters sooner than with standard headlights, enabling faster reaction times and safer nighttime driving.

The new Intelli-Lux HD headlights adjust automatically to different driving scenarios, such as cornering and bad weather, digitally adapting the light cone for precise visibility without blinding oncoming traffic.
The system also dims lights around reflective signs to reduce glare for the driver and includes a “tourist mode” for left-hand traffic.
In addition to advanced headlights, the Grandland debuts Opel’s signature 3D Vizor front design, featuring an illuminated Opel Blitz logo and edge light technology that spans the vehicle’s width. Illuminated Opel lettering also makes its first appearance on the SUV’s rear.
These innovations reflect Opel’s 125-year legacy of democratising advanced automotive lighting, from the earliest Patentmotorwagen to today’s high-tech Grandland, offering top-tier visibility across its vehicle lineup.
