The Opel Grandland has been awarded the DVN Award 2025 for Best Front Lamps, recognizing its Intelli-Lux HD adaptive lighting system with over 50,000 individual elements.

The award, presented by Driving Vision News (DVN), honors groundbreaking innovations in automotive lighting. Philipp Roeckl, Global Lead Complex Lighting at Stellantis, accepted the award at the DVN symposium in Munich.

It improves reaction times by detecting obstacles 30 to 40 meters earlier than traditional headlights. Advanced features include adaptive cornering light, fog mode, and automatic dimming for road signs, ensuring optimal lighting without dazzling other drivers.

Opel’s 3D Vizor design integrates the illuminated Opel Blitz and edge light technology, giving the Grandland a distinctive night-time presence. The system is set to evolve, with future developments in light animations and enhanced adaptability for different driving conditions.
