The season finale of the ADAC Opel Electric Rally Cup “powered by GSe” will unfold at the Central European Rally on October 19-20, with Opel’s electric Corsa Rally Electric cars competing alongside rallying’s elite.
Despite Austrian driver Luca Pröglhöf securing the 2024 title earlier, the final round promises excitement, as drivers including Germany’s Christian Lemke and Spain’s Alex Español aim to claim victory on the challenging asphalt stages in Germany and Austria.

The competition, featuring 16 teams from seven nations, highlights the growing international appeal of electric rallying. The finale offers a unique opportunity for these drivers to showcase their skills in front of a world-class audience, sharing the stage with top-tier World Rally Championship contenders. French driver Anthony Rott, currently second in the standings, is expected to push hard for a strong finish.
Opel’s commitment to electric mobility is on full display with its 100 kW (136 hp) Corsa Rally Electric vehicles. Two VIP Corsa Rally Electric cars, driven by Opel junior Timo Schulz and racing legend Volker Strycek, will offer guests from Opel dealerships and sponsor Total Energies an up-close rally experience.
The finale also includes a special public event on Sunday, as the Corsa Rally Electric teams regroup in the town of Hauzenberg, combining electric rallying with local festivities. Fans can enjoy a day of rallying excitement and see the electric cars up close.
