An Only Fools and Horses three-wheeler van is up for sale for £6,950 after being found abandoned in a barn. This replica of the iconic yellow Reliant Regal, famously driven by Del Boy Trotter (played by David Jason) in the beloved BBC sitcom of the 80s and 90s, is an uncanny match to the original but is in desperate need of restoration.
The van, recently discovered as a “barn find,” has been off the road for several years, gathering dust in storage. The seller, located in Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, is offering it to a budding mechanic or enthusiast for a much-needed transformation.
Despite its dilapidated condition, the van retains all its original parts, including mirrors, badges, lights, lenses, and engine.

The exterior paint is chipped and flaking, with significant damage near one of the front headlights covered in black duct tape. Inside, the car shows signs of severe neglect, with green mold on the floor and rust covering the gearstick and steering wheel.
The Reliant Regal Supervan is branded with Del Boy’s company, ‘Trotters Independent Traders,’ and even has a number plate that reads “DEL BOY.” The seller is asking for £6,950 but is open to offers. The buyer must collect the car in person and pay in cash.
The listing description emphasizes the vehicle’s potential for restoration, noting, “Del Boy Trotters Independent Traders Only Fools and Horses prop/replica van. Recently purchased barn find. This van has been off the road and sat in storage for many years.
These vehicles and parts are getting really hard to find for restorations. This is a great opportunity to purchase for a restoration as it has all of its original parts that are hard to find. Original mirrors are still intact, badges still intact, lights and lenses and chrome trim, intact engine.”
They also added a caution about the van’s condition, stating, “You will probably need a complete rebuild; a left-hand drive bare rolling shell with no mirrors, door handles, no interior, and rotten chassis.”
This iconic piece of television history is a challenging but rewarding project for any classic car restorer or Only Fools and Horses fan.
