Frontier Pro: Nissan’s First-Ever Electrified Pickup Truck
The Frontier Pro is a game-changer for Nissan—its first plug-in hybrid and first electrified pickup, blending rugged utility with refined modernity. Built with dual-purpose flexibility in mind, this five-seater is equally suited for city commutes and weekend escapes.

Design and Styling
Framed by a “Rugged Tech” design ethos, the Frontier Pro sports a contemporary, muscular exterior with heritage-inspired touches.
LED lighting, a glowing Nissan badge, and a nod to the 1980s D21 hardbody in the three-slot hood lighting signature set it apart. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and comes equipped with roof rails and an electronic cargo cover for practical utility.
Powertrain and Performance
The Frontier Pro runs on a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with a high-output electric motor, producing over 300 kW of power and up to 800 Nm of torque. Its plug-in hybrid system delivers up to 135 km of pure EV range, making it one of the most capable and efficient pickups in its class for the Chinese market.
Driving and Utility
Designed with adventure in mind, all models feature Intelligent AWD, a 5-link rear suspension, and four drive modes—Hybrid, Pure Electric, Performance, and Snow.
An electromechanical rear differential lock boosts off-road capability. For added versatility, the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) port provides up to 6 kW of external power—perfect for camping or worksite needs.
Interior Tech and Comfort
Inside, the Frontier Pro offers a panoramic roof, 10-inch digital cluster, and a massive 14.6-inch infotainment screen. Features like heated, ventilated, and massaging seats, along with a premium cabin layout, bring luxury into the pickup space.
Co-developed with Zhengzhou Nissan, the truck will be built in China and go on sale before the end of 2025, with export plans to be revealed later.

Dongfeng Nissan N7: A Sleek, AI-Powered Electric Sedan
After its debut just five months ago, the Dongfeng Nissan N7 is now hitting the Chinese market with futuristic flair. This all-electric sedan merges efficiency, intelligent tech, and luxury—offering an alluring package for urban drivers.

Aerodynamic and Modern Exterior
The N7 boasts a drag coefficient of just 0.208, aided by features like flush door handles, frameless doors, and customizable lighting. A full-width rear OLED light bar with 882 LEDs and 710 front-facing LEDs create a signature look that drivers can personalize with projections and patterns.
Electric Range and Fast Charging
Powered by lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries in 58kWh and 73kWh configurations, the N7 delivers 510 to 635 km of range (CLTC). Thanks to 400-volt architecture, a 10-80% recharge takes just 19 minutes, and a quick 30-80% top-up happens in as little as 14 minutes.
Advanced Driving Technology
Built with comfort and safety in mind, the N7 features MacPherson front and multi-link rear suspension along with motion sickness mitigation. It introduces Navigate on Autopilot, developed with Chinese autonomous tech leader Momenta.
The system enables seamless lane changes, merging, complex turns, and even automated parking, enhancing peace of mind in busy urban environments.
High-Tech, Wellness-Focused Interior
The cabin is a high-tech haven, anchored by a 15.6-inch 2.5K infotainment screen, running on a Snapdragon 8295P chip with 32GB RAM and 256GB storage. Integrated DeepSeek-R1 AI and up to 14 speakers—including retractable dash-mounted units—deliver immersive media experiences.

Wellness features include:
- ‘Zero-pressure’ seats with 49 sensors and AI posture adjustment
- 12-point massage functionality
- Heated/cooled drink compartment
- 256-color ambient lighting and a large panoramic roof
The N7 pairs luxurious materials with advanced digital intelligence to create an inviting, family-friendly interior.
Nissan’s China Strategy Moves Forward
