Nissan and INFINITI reveal a global lineup of new EVs, hybrids, and next-gen tech launching in FY25 and FY26, aiming to boost performance, sustainability, and growth.

Nissan has unveiled a major global product push, announcing a broad lineup of new and refreshed models set to launch in FY25 and FY26.

The initiative includes next-gen EVs, plug-in hybrids, advanced internal combustion engines, and the third-generation e-POWER system, all aimed at improving performance, expanding customer options, and driving sustainable growth.

The all-new Nissan LEAF will debut as a sleek, family-friendly crossover with improved range, a Tesla-compatible NACS port (in North America), and upgraded features like 19-inch wheels and a panoramic moonroof. It will ride on the CMF-EV platform and launch first in the U.S. and Canada in FY25.

Nissan’s third-gen e-POWER, arriving first in Europe on the Qashqai in FY25, delivers better efficiency, lower emissions, and a quieter ride.

It uses a 1.5L engine as a generator for an electric motor-powered drive, offering an EV-like feel without range anxiety. The system will also be introduced in the next-gen Rogue (North America) and a new minivan (Japan) in FY26.

Key regional highlights:

  • North America: Over 10 new or updated models, including the new LEAF, Nissan’s first PHEV (Rogue), a new Sentra, and refreshed Pathfinder. INFINITI adds a refreshed QX60 and a new QX80 SPORT package. FY26 brings a new Rogue with e-POWER, ICE, and PHEV variants, plus the all-new INFINITI QX65 coupe SUV. Nissan will also begin U.S. production of a new EV SUV in late FY27, followed by an INFINITI EV in FY28.
  • Europe: Launches include the new Micra EV, all-new LEAF, and Qashqai with third-gen e-POWER in FY25. In FY26, a new all-electric Juke will join the lineup.
  • Japan: FY25 sees launches of the new LEAF and Kei car, followed by a new minivan with third-gen e-POWER in FY26.
  • LATAM: A new subcompact SUV and expanded Versa sales arrive in FY25, with the updated Frontier pickup and X-Trail e-POWER expansion set for FY26. INFINITI QX65 also debuts.
  • Middle East: Z NISMO launches in FY25, along with refreshed INFINITI QX60 and QX80 SPORT package. INFINITI QX65 follows in FY26.
  • India: Two locally built models—a multipurpose vehicle in FY25 and a 5-seat compact SUV in FY26—will serve both domestic and export markets, supporting Nissan’s goal of 100,000 annual units in each.
  • Oceania: Australia will see Ariya sales begin in FY25, followed in FY26 by a new Patrol, a one-ton pickup, third-gen LEAF, and Qashqai with e-POWER.
  • Africa: The Magnite SUV expands to more markets in FY25, while a new Patrol and a future 5-seat SUV will launch across select countries by FY26.
