NIO, a leader in smart electric vehicles, has partnered with Abu Dhabi’s CYVN Holdings to launch NIO MENA, marking the company’s entry into the Middle East and North Africa.
The collaboration will introduce NIO’s EV models and cutting-edge technologies, including autonomous driving and battery-swapping, to the region, starting with the UAE.

NIO and CYVN Holdings will also establish an R&D center in Abu Dhabi, focusing on AI and autonomous driving advancements.
Additionally, they plan to collaborate on an electric vehicle project in Egypt, further strengthening the region’s EV manufacturing landscape.
NIO CEO William Li highlighted the partnership’s role in accelerating global access to smart EVs, while CYVN Chairman Jassem Mohamed Alzaabi emphasized their commitment to transformative mobility goals.
