NIO and technology giant ZF are setting a new benchmark in the industry with the integration of steer-by-wire technology in the NIO ET9’s “SkyRide” chassis, marking a major step in the industrialization of software-defined vehicles.

The innovative system eliminates the traditional mechanical steering connection, offering a fully digital, customizable driving experience.

By dynamically adjusting the steering ratio based on speed, it enhances both maneuverability at low speeds and stability at high speeds, ensuring a precise, safe, and comfortable ride.
