They were estimated to be snapped up for a total of £117,000.
But the items from Mansell’s own collection fetched just £54,764.

The top selling piece was a framed photo of him alongside track rivals Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost and Nelson Piquet.
The signed snap is called ‘Four World Champions on a Wall’ as they were all F1 champs.
It was bought for £5,040.
A 1993 Arai signed helmet that Mansell, now 70, wore at Donington Park in October 1993 was bought for £3,600.
Mansell’s first place plate for winning the 1987 San Marino Grand Prix sold for £2,700.
A framed McLaren race suit from 1995 went for £1,680.
One race fan bought a signed bottle of Moët & Chandon champagne in the auction for £240.
But the was open and empty.
Even Mansell’s old undies were bought.
The assorted unused race under-garments – including race long-johns, socks, vests and balaclavas – were one of the lots.
They were tipped to go for £500 but were bought for £240.
The RM Sotheby’s auction took place yesterday (12 Jun) at Cliveden House, in Taplow, near Maidenhead, Berkshire, as reported on Luxury Auto News.
A spokesperson for the auctioneers said: “A fascinating selection of 55 lots includes everything from helmets and winner’s trophies to jackets and race suits.
“This auction follows on from the incredibly successful automobilia sale that RM Sotheby’s held in 2023.
“In which over 300 lots from Mansell’s personal collection were sold, in the process more than doubling the pre-sale estimate.”
Mansell had 31 wins and 59 podium finishes in his F1 career.
He was world champ in 1992.
