The Porsche Museum has introduced a thrilling new escape game designed to protect and preserve the brand’s cultural and technical heritage. This engaging experience, now available for bookings, challenges participants to solve a series of puzzles within a 90-minute timeframe.
The escape game, tailored for groups of two to five people, offers a deep dive into Porsche’s storied history and the museum itself. With an increasing demand for customized experiences, this game promises to be a unique and memorable adventure for families, friends, and colleagues. According to Franziska Volle, who oversees the escape game, it provides a fresh perspective on exploring the museum and the Porsche brand. “Taking part in the Porsche escape game is a great bonding exercise and the experience stays with you long in the memory,” Volle stated.

Participants start their journey by collecting a rucksack equipped with essential tools from the museum’s foyer. A tablet with a chatbot function guides them through the game, incorporating augmented reality (AR) applications and digital resources. Teams will encounter a variety of puzzles that require visual processing, abstract thinking, and creative problem-solving. These puzzles range from invisible ink research and decoding challenges to skill-based tasks, spread across three floors of the museum.
The narrative of the escape game revolves around the Porsche Heritage Guardians, a fictional group dedicated to the brand’s legacy. Players must follow a hidden trail and complete various missions to earn the title of Heritage Guardians. Successful teams receive an exclusive badge as a token of their achievement.
The grand finale of the escape game features the ‘Escape Cube,’ a puzzle that requires setting four combination wheels correctly, each representing a core theme of Porsche: Passion, pioneering spirit, performance, and design. Teams must solve tasks in categories such as ‘overtaking’ and ‘angular aesthetics’ to unlock the cube and complete the game.
Bookings for the Porsche Museum escape game are now open, priced at 175 euros per group, which includes day entry to the museum. This innovative experience not only offers an exciting challenge but also serves as a testament to Porsche’s commitment to preserving its heritage in an engaging and interactive way.
