Audi is expanding its electric vehicle lineup with the introduction of the Q6 Sportback e-tron, a sleek and sporty SUV that merges the brand’s powerful design with the elegance of a coupé.
Showcasing Audi’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) technology, the Q6 Sportback e-tron emphasizes performance, efficiency, and range, with the top model boasting up to 656 kilometers of range. Its aerodynamic shape, iconic sloping roofline, and premium features make it a standout, particularly for design-conscious buyers.

Unveiling at the Paris Motor Show 2024, Audi CEO Gernot Döllner described the new model as “the next step in expanding our electric portfolio,” combining efficiency and performance with a bold, dynamic design.
The Q6 Sportback e-tron offers the spaciousness of an SUV, featuring a 511-liter luggage compartment, expandable to 1,373 liters, and a 64-liter front trunk. Inside, it’s designed for comfort, with ample legroom thanks to its 2,899 mm wheelbase. It also has a towing capacity of up to 2,400 kilograms.
At launch, Audi will offer two battery sizes: an 83 kWh variant and a 100 kWh option, available in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. The Q6 Sportback is the most aerodynamic model in its series, with a drag coefficient of 0.26, contributing to its leading range.
The Q6 Sportback’s interior is tailored for comfort, featuring high-quality, sustainable materials and advanced tech like the Audi MMI panoramic display and passenger display. The design emphasizes aesthetics and functionality, with recycled materials like Dinamica microfiber and recycled polyester used throughout.
For performance enthusiasts, the SQ6 Sportback e-tron delivers a system output of 360 kW (489 PS), reaching 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. Meanwhile, all models boast a top speed of 210 km/h, with the SQ6 maxing out at 230 km/h. Audi’s 800-volt electrical system enables fast charging, with the ability to add 265 kilometers of range in just 10 minutes.
Safety is a priority, with the Q6 e-tron series receiving top marks in the Euro NCAP crash tests, including “Best in Class” for child safety. Audi also introduces its cutting-edge digital OLED lighting system, which enhances road safety and offers customizable light signatures for a personalized touch.
The Q6 Sportback e-tron will be available in late 2024, with prices starting at €65,900 for the entry-level model, up to €96,200 for the high-performance SQ6 Sportback e-tron. Audi continues to manufacture these models under net carbon-neutral conditions, further supporting its commitment to sustainability.
