Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) has unveiled its 2025 model year lineup, reflecting the company’s ongoing dedication to delivering high-quality, value-packed, technologically advanced vehicles in the U.S. market. Key updates include a mid-cycle refresh for the Outlander, and various enhancements for the Eclipse Cross, Outlander Sport, and Outlander Plug-in Hybrid to boost comfort and connectivity.

The 2025 Outlander builds on the success of the 2022 model with a mid-cycle refresh that includes updated front and rear styling and enhanced luxury in interior materials and design. Specific details about these updates will be available closer to the vehicle’s launch in early 2025. The three-row, seven-passenger SUV’s pricing will also be announced later this year.

The 2025 Outlander Plug-in Hybrid, recognized as the world’s first and best-selling all-wheel drive plug-in hybrid SUV, introduces new standard features. These include front heated seats across all trims, with a heated steering wheel and panoramic sunroof standard on SEL trims. The My MITSUBISHI CONNECT service adds a 5-year Safeguard free trial and a 12-month Remote Services free trial.

The model continues to offer the top-tier Platinum Edition trim with a distinctive Black Diamond and Alloy Silver roof color combination, and the Black Edition returns for SEL trims. Known for its quiet, eco-friendly driving, the Outlander Plug-in Hybrid features powerful front and rear motors, a 20-kWh battery, and Mitsubishi’s Super-All Wheel Control system. It boasts an EPA-rated 38 miles of all-electric driving range and a total range of 420 miles.

For the 2025 Eclipse Cross, enhancements include standard Rear Seat Alert and an updated Black Edition available on SE trims, featuring a revised front lip and rear spoiler. LE trims and above will benefit from the My MITSUBISHI CONNECT service, which includes a 5-year Safeguard free trial and a 12-month Remote Services free trial. Every Eclipse Cross is equipped with Mitsubishi’s S-AWC all-wheel drive system, designed to improve handling in various conditions.

The 2025 Outlander Sport continues its legacy as one of MMNA’s best-sellers, combining adventure-ready features with great value. The model comes standard with Mitsubishi’s All-Wheel Control system. Starting with October 2024 production, the Outlander Sport will include Rear Seat Alert as standard, maintaining this safety feature into the 2025 model year.
