Mitsubishi Motors North America has confirmed a major step forward in its Momentum 2030 business plan, announcing the upcoming launch of a battery electric vehicle (BEV) for the U.S. and Canadian markets.

The new EV, built in partnership with Nissan and based on the next-generation Nissan LEAF, is scheduled to arrive in summer 2026. While key details like its name, design, and specs remain under wraps, Mitsubishi promises future updates.
