Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) concluded 2024 with strong sales growth, reporting a 25.8% year-over-year (YOY) increase in annual sales, totaling 109,843 vehicles.
This marks the brand’s best performance since 2019. Fourth-quarter sales rose by 38.4%, reaching 27,125 units, with every model in the lineup achieving full-year sales gains. The flagship Outlander and Outlander Plug-in Hybrid delivered their best-ever annual sales.

2024 Sales Highlights
- Outlander: Full-year sales climbed 6.5% to 45,253 units, with Q4 sales up 7.2% ahead of its 2025 refresh arriving in February.
- Outlander Plug-in Hybrid: Achieved record sales of 6,975 vehicles (+4.4%), with Q4 sales rising 14.1%.
- Eclipse Cross: Annual sales surged 28.2% to 12,724 units, supported by an 11.4% increase in Q4.
- Mirage: Despite being discontinued for the U.S. market, sales soared 125% YOY to 29,766 units.
Momentum 2030 Plan
MMNA’s forward-looking Momentum 2030 business plan outlines its path toward electrification, lineup expansion, retail sales modernization, and network growth. By 2030, the company aims to double its product offerings, introducing one new or refreshed model annually, powered by advanced internal combustion, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and electric drivetrains.
