On September 12, 2024, the Mercedes-Benz Museum welcomed its 13 millionth visitor, Frédéric Atoun, marking a major milestone as international interest in the museum continues to grow.

On September 12, 2024, the Mercedes-Benz Museum welcomed its 13 millionth visitor, Frédéric Atoun, from Orléans, France. Atoun, visiting with his son Victor, was greeted by Museum Director Bettina Haussmann.

After signing the VIP visitor book, they posed for photos in a 1936 Mercedes-Benz 500 K Spezial-Roadster from the museum’s collection. The pair had also visited the Porsche Museum, benefiting from a combined ticket offer.

Haussmann expressed delight at surpassing the 13 million visitor milestone earlier than expected, attributing it to the museum’s successful appeal worldwide.

The summer of 2024 saw a 16% increase in visitors compared to 2023, with around 65% of guests being international, notably from France and China. The boost in numbers was also supported by the European football championship held in Stuttgart.

The museum, showcasing the history of mobility from 1886 to the present, features 160 vehicles and 1,500 exhibits within its iconic architecture. It continues to serve as a cultural hub in Stuttgart, attracting car enthusiasts and tourists alike.
