Mercedes-Benz is offering its customers access to the RIDEVU video entertainment service from Sony Pictures Entertainment. Integrated with the MBUX system, RIDEVU delivers a high-quality, in-car movie experience on up to six screens simultaneously.
Customers in eligible markets with an MBUX Entertainment Package Plus subscription can easily set up a RIDEVU account via the in-car app, granting access to a regularly updated library of movies, with options to rent or buy new releases.

Available now in Germany, the UK, and Ireland for models with second-generation MBUX, it will soon roll out to other models as well.
RIDEVU offers a top-tier entertainment experience, with HD video quality and future plans for premium audio formats like 4D and 3D surround sound.
The service includes extras such as behind-the-scenes content, interviews, and more. Users can also stream on personal devices, cast to TVs, and download content for offline viewing through the RIDEVU mobile app.
The intuitive interface supports individual streaming on different in-car screens, with upcoming features like content sharing across screens.
To activate RIDEVU, customers simply need to select the app in their MBUX system and follow a few steps to set up their account, unlocking a comprehensive in-car entertainment experience.
