Total 2024 sales reached 2,389,000 units, down 4% from 2023 due to challenging global market conditions. The Top-End segment accounted for 15.9% of Q4 sales.

The G-Class achieved record quarterly sales, boosted by the new electric model, while Mercedes-AMG also reported its best-ever quarter. Core segment sales rose 6% year-on-year, led by the GLC and E-Class models.
Plug-in hybrid sales increased by 13%, although battery-electric vehicle sales declined by 23% year-on-year due to slower adoption in key markets.
Mercedes-Benz Vans posted a 16% quarter-on-quarter sales increase in Q4, with 105,700 units sold. Full-year sales fell 9% to 405,600 units, impacted by model transitions and weaker demand for large and midsize combustion engine vans in the U.S. and China. EV van sales rose 59% in Q4, reaching 6,900 units, with full-year EV van sales at 19,500.

Leadership credited the updated product lineup, including the launch of the electric G-Class and forthcoming CLA models, for bolstering demand. The company emphasized its focus on sustainability and competitive positioning across markets.
