The McLaren W1, a groundbreaking successor to the iconic McLaren F1 and P1, sets a new benchmark in supercar performance. Featuring a V8 hybrid powertrain delivering 1,275 PS—the most powerful McLaren to date—it achieves a best-in-class power-to-weight ratio of 911 PS/tonne.
Its 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine produces 928 PS, complemented by an electric motor delivering 347 PS. This results in blistering acceleration, reaching 200 km/h in just 5.8 seconds, with a top speed of 350 km/h.

The W1’s aerodynamics are inspired by Formula 1, with an active rear wing and ground-effect design that generates up to 1,000 kg of downforce. The car’s advanced suspension system, Race Active Chassis Control III, further enhances performance, allowing the W1 to transition from road to track mode by lowering the ride height and stiffening the suspension.
Inside, McLaren’s focus on driver engagement is evident with a cockpit that integrates the driver into the car’s structure, offering unmatched control. With bespoke lightweight materials and the option for extensive personalization through McLaren Special Operations (MSO), the W1 is designed for a tailor-made experience.
Limited to just 399 units, the McLaren W1 is priced at approximately £2 million, with all units already allocated. It is the fastest-accelerating and fastest-lapping road-legal McLaren ever, reaffirming McLaren’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of supercar engineering.
