Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) reported impressive October sales results, with 37,307 vehicles sold, marking a 58.7% year-over-year increase and setting a record for Mazda’s best-ever October sales.
Adjusted for the additional two selling days compared to October 2023, the Daily Selling Rate (DSR) saw a 47% rise. Year-to-date sales also reflect strong growth, with 350,759 units sold, up 18.5% from the same period last year.

October 2024 Sales Highlights
- Record Sales: Sixth consecutive month of sales gains and the best-ever October performance.
- CX-30: Achieved its best October with 7,216 units sold (+22.1%).
- CX-50: Saw record October sales of 7,771 units (+145.3%).
- CX-90: Sold 5,236 units, up 40.7%, marking its best October.
- CX-70: New model recorded its best-ever monthly sales with 2,517 units.
Mazda’s Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) sales also grew, with 6,027 vehicles sold in October, up 25% year-over-year. Regional highlights include Mazda Canada’s October sales reaching 6,808 vehicles (+24.9%) and Mazda Motor de Mexico’s October sales of 8,456 vehicles (+21%).
Model Breakdown – October 2024
- Mazda3: 3,490 units sold (+58.3%); sedan sales surged 72.5%.
- MX-5 Miata: 911 units sold (+71.6%).
- CX-5: 10,166 units, an increase of 27.7%.
- CX-90: 5,236 units (+40.7%).
- CX-50: A remarkable 7,771 units sold, up 145.3%.
- CX-70: Reached 2,517 units as a new addition to the lineup.
